| Soccer camp moved to Phillips Park
With their unique approach in teaching the game, the Brasilian Summer Soccer Camps have become one of the best in the midwest. Players from ages 4-18 and all skill levels are challenged daily in all aspects of the game, with emphasis on technique. From the first day and throughout the camp, all players are going to be challenged accordingly. Trained instructors have more than 20 years of experience in the game playing and coaching at all levels, from professional, college and high school. Camp instructors also have many years of professional playing experience internationally. The camp will also offer goalkeeper training for all ages and skill levels from coaches specializing in the Goalkeeper Program. The first 400 campers will a special edition Brasilian Soccer Camp Ball and T-shirt.
Soccer coach takes reins
The new Cal State Stanislaus men's soccer coach spent the last 10 years leading the Oregon State program, taking the Beavers to two national championship tournaments. Practice started last week for the Warriors, who will play in a new multi-million dollar facility this season. The high-end stadium and proximity to family were the primary attractions for Taylor and his wife, Lisa, to relocate. .
