Soccer: Victory sends Menace into playoffs
It was just a matter of putting in their opportunities for the Menace on Saturday.
The Menace clinched at least a share of the PDL's Heartland Division title and a spot in the playoffs with a 4-0 win over Springfield in front of 3,867 fans at Valley Stadium. The Menace used 16 shots on goal and 14 corner kicks in securing the win.
"We were creating enough opportunities," said Ben Taylor, who scored a goal and assisted on two others. "We knew that it was just a matter of time." .
